Atomic Absorption

Atomic Absorption

The Perkin Elmer atomic absorption/emission spectrometer features a single beam, all reflecting optical system. The photomultiplier gain, hollow cathode lamp current, optional background corrector brightness, signal processing and data processing are automatically controlled.

Atomic Absorption employs the absorption of electromagnetic radiation by individual atoms. Flame spectrometric methods, qualititative and quantitative, can be applied to clinical materials, soils, plant materials, plant nutrients, and samples of inorganic and organic substances.
