Casting

Foundry at the Materials Science & Engineering Labs:
Institute of the Materials Processing at MTU has the capabilities for a variety of permanent mold and sand casting operations. Photos show Michigan Tech students working in the IMP/Materials Science & Engineering lab carrying out a casting development project for a program involving university research, private enterprise and students, Program for Integrated Sustainable Manufacturing (PRISM).
